Main rules enforced on the server.
1) Do not trigger the Siege of Shanghai Levolution (Tower collapse) until both teams SIMULTANEOUSLY have less than 400 tickets remaining.
- To rephrase if necessary, Team A needs to have less than 400 tickets remaining AT THE SAME TIME THAT Team B has less than 400 tickets remaining.
- Only when those conditions are met can the tower be taken down.
- Damaging the tower pillars on purpose will result in an action taken against you ranging from a kick to a permanent ban depending on the severity or in case of multiple offences.
2) No cheat / "hack" / glitching
- Use of third-party software or modifications to the game files to give a player an advantage of any kind is strictly forbidden and will result in a permanent ban coupled with a report to external anti-cheat tools for other servers.
- Use of glitches to reach areas of the map rendering a player invulnerable or impossible to hit are forbidden. They will result in a ban if abused.
- The use of movement glitches (commonly referred to as “vou-zou” and “zou-zou”) is not appreciated, and excessive use may result in a kick.
3) No baserape / base lockon / basecamp / vehicle stealing
a) Baserape
- You are NOT ALLOWED to attack any other player with any weapon or vehicle when they are in their base UNLESS they are opening fire at you or a teammate (engaged in combat) or have recently retreated into their base, in which case you are allowed to attack that player AND THAT PLAYER ONLY. This also holds true for helicopters of any kind.
E.G.: An enemy attack helicopter retreating in their base for repairs CAN be attacked and destroyed, but any nearby infantry, ground vehicles or transport helicopter MUST NOT be attacked (unless also engaged in combat or retreated).
An enemy vehicle or even infantry can be shot at in their base if they are actively shooting at you or just retreated for repairs or healing.
- The use of any type of explosive, AT mine or AA mine at the exit of the enemy base will also be considered as baserape REGARDLESS OF THEIR COMBAT STATUS.
- In the case of UCAVs and SRAWs, considering their long travel time, you may not LAUNCH the weapon until the enemy vehicle has exited their base (unless engaged in combat or retreated).
b) Base Lockon
- You are NOT ALLOWED to use any method of locking while the enemy vehicle is in their base UNLESS it has engaged in combat or has retreated.
- (Stinger / IGLA for helicopters, Javelin for ground vehicles, PLD, SOFLAM, SUAV and any other for both types of vehicles)
- Action will be taken against base lockers depending on the severity (ranging from admin kill to kick/ban).
c) Base camp
- Players are not supposed to stay in any area that the enemy team is not meant to reach (a.k.a redzone or Out_Of_Combat_Area). They are allowed to retreat into it to receive healing or repairs but become valid targets for attack.
- Staying out of the main combat area for extensive amounts of time may result in an admin kill (possibly a kick in case of abuse with a tank or an LAV).
d) Vehicle stealing
- Any theft of vehicle directly from the enemy base is not tolerated and will result in an admin kill or a kick.
- Attack helicopters, Transport helicopters and the LAV-25 belong to their respective teams and must not be stolen even on the field nor being taken "hostage" to prevent their use from the enemy team.
(In case you defeat the user(s) of one of those vehicles, you will have to dispose of it or destroy it immediately).
- The on-field recovery of tanks SPECIFICALLY is allowed even if the vehicle come out of the enemy base. However, in case it causes too much unbalance, you are expected to dispose of the stolen tank and destroy it.
- Entering any vehicle that one of your teammates just exited to perform repairs and with the intent of going back inside means that you must leave the pilot seat unoccupied for them to recover.
4) No racism/Nazi symbols/propaganda/insults
- The use of ANY type of slur (even altered or shortened as an attempt to bypass filters), Nazi related comment, player tag, clan tag, symbols or names associated to racism, discrimination, Nazism, holocaust denial ...
is STRICTLY PROHIBITED and will result in a permanent ban and can be issued at any time once this rule is disrespected.
- Political conversations should not be done in the chat. Even though we can disagree about past and current events, a BF4 chat is not a political debate room.
- Mute commands can be issued in case such discussions go on for prolonged periods of time (kick in case of escalation).
- The use of insults is not appreciated but will not result in a mute, kill, or kick unless the insults become repetitive or seriously hurtful.
5) No kill farming when server population is low / Max 100 kills when in high server population.
- You can use a vehicle type to kill up to 100 players, at which point you will receive a message warning you of the limit.
- At that point you should consider using another combat method (using another vehicle type or going infantry).
- When the server has less than 32 total players, it is in low-population mode and the kill limits are lowered to 10 kills max per vehicle type.
6) Pilot / Driver chooses the gunner/passenger, no team sabotage
- The pilot or driver of any vehicle has the final word on who gets to accompany them regardless of vehicle type.
- If you are the pilot/driver of a vehicle and wish for one of your passengers to exit your vehicle, you must at the very least ask them before escalating it to the mods/admins.
- Refusing to exit a vehicle when requested can lead to an admin kill or a kick if repeated.
- Deliberate attempts such as the use of explosives or rockets on any team vehicle, crashing a helicopter on purpose with passengers inside or anything that will negatively impact the team will be considered team sabotage and will result in an admin kill (kick if repeated).
7) English in main chat/Английский язык в основном чате
- Please use English in the general chat so that everyone can understand you. You are free to use any other language in team chat and squad chat.
8) Players may be moved by moderators for server balance
- In order to maintain balance between the teams, the Moderators can choose to forcefully send a player (or set of players) to the other team at any time. You can volunteer yourself by typing !assist in the chat, you will be automatically swapped or queued if the game isn't currently unbalanced.
